This month marks the 26th anniversary of former bass player Mark Evans’s departure from AC/DC. Glum milestone, no doubt! One of Mark’s last shows went down at Scandinavium in Gothenburg, Sweden, opening for Black Sabbath. Some thrifty Swede recorded it for what was called a bootleg LP back in the day, which you can now enjoy by clicking play on the YouTube link above.
Mark’s complete tenure in AC/DC spanned several hundred shows, and he describes the rise from vans to jets in detail in his acclaimed autobiography Dirty Deeds: My Life Inside Outside of AC/DC.
